The Hazards of Making a Plastic Bag

Making of Plastic Bags

The process of making a plastic bag itself is hazardous. Workers have to place a material called resin in in many shafts and tunnels that are heated to more than 1,000 degrees Celsius. The heat of the working area is too extreme so all of the machinery and pulleys that have to be operated by men are very heat resistance and the men themselves are operating all of the systems above ground and away from the smoldering heat. The process also involves using thousands of barrels of oil which wastes our precious reserves of fossil fuel. The plastic bags are then sold for hundreds of dollars less than they cost to produce.
